Gotham City Impostors has many gadgets and items that can be useful in combat. Some of these items are pivotal for teams to stay competitive. Unfortunately unlocks are hard to come by, so when you finally get a chance to pick an item the amount of choices can be a little overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created a list of the best non-weapon unlocks in the game. Now remember these are just suggestions and depending on your style of play, may or may not work best for you. Experiment with different combinations and your team can rule Gotham.

 

10. Gadget: Ninja Smoke Bomb – Need to disappear in a hurry? The Ninja Smoke Bomb allows you to become invisible and regain the advantage. Low on health? Disappear and head for a care station. Combine this with the Wallflower Fun Fact to become the ultimate ninja.

 

 

 

 

9. Gadget: Grapple Gun – Sure, it’s the default gadget, but it’s one of the best in the game. Getting to high ground has never been easier. Zip from one side of the board to the other or you can even use the grappling gun to kill enemies.

 

 

 

 

8. Support Item: Body Armor – Reduces bullet damage by a significant amount. Combine this with Hard Target or Kinda Bulletproof Fun Facts and you will be a force to be reckoned with.

 

 

 

 

7. Fun Fact 2: Marksman – This one is simple. Your bullets do extra damage, so when it comes to a one-on-one firefight….. you will always have the advantage.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Support Item: Trap-in-the-Box – A proximity-activated mine that deals out significant damage in a wide radius. Use it to trap incoming enemies or use it to cover your butt if you’re sniping from the rooftops. One tactic is to place the Trap-in-the-Box on top of a care station, blowing up any enemies hoping to recharge their health.

 

 

5. Support Item: Boomerang – This unlock may not seem like a good investment at first, but it just may be the most useful support item in the game. The boomerang is great for taking out multiple enemies(target the group, stun them, and finish them off with your weapon). The boomerang is also effective against airborne opponents, a quick throw and watch them drop like flies.

 

 

4. Support Item: Hatchet – A difficult weapon to use, but highly lethal. The hatchet can take down any enemy with a single hit. You can retrieve your thrown hatchet and avoid having to wait for the resupply timer.

 

 

 

 

3. Gadget: Glider Rig – If mastered correctly the Glider Rig can not only become a great mode of transportation, it can become a deadly attack on unsuspecting foes. By simply performing the Dive Bomb attack while gliding you can kill your enemies with ease….and in style.

 

 

 

 

2. Fun Fact 1: Wallflower – If your team is continually getting destroyed by the opposition, it usually means the other team has a spotter, someone who is tagging members of your team for an easy kill using the targeting goggles. Even up the playing field with the Wallflower Fun Fact. You won’t show up on enemy radar, targeting goggles, or body odor sniffers. Giving you the element of surprise.

 

 

 

 

1. Gadget: Targeting Goggles – Chances are if you or someone on your team has one of these handy gadgets, you’re going to win. The targeting goggles reveal enemy positions so that your team can easily see them. Opponents are highlighted in yellow and can even be seen through walls. If one of your teammates kills an enemy you tagged it’s a cool 100 points. This gadget is a must buy for any team.
