A new weekly feature here at WVG. Every week we take a look at something in the entertainment industry that breaks the usual mold of unoriginal ideas.
This week we have Mega Up: Upload if You Can, a game released on XBOX live’s excellent indie games service. Costing 80 points this game chronicles the shocking events that took place against the Megaupload empire and it’s owner. The outrage from techies and hackers worldwide over the arrest of owner Kim Dotcom is well documented so why not a video game? On the downside the side scroller doesn’t exactly look like a Mario killer, but use some points to buy the damn thing in protest.
